2009 Breedings for Sale

We are not going to breed our mares this year and we have these wonderful breedings to the following stallions. I have listed them in a auction format on www.3-Day-Eventing.com so you can go and bid on them. I have met all of these stallions at the RID breed show and they are really classic gentlemen. I would love to have any one of their foals.

Celtic Moon

Celtic MoonMoon was imported from Ireland as a weanling and is one of two RID sons of Annaghdown Star RID (Star Kingdom is the other and stands in Ireland ). His Sir Annaghdown Star won the Stallion Class in the Royal Dublin in 1991, 1993, 1994 and he stood Reserve in 1992.

Moons Dam Hughie's Lady is from the lovely old mare line that also produced the RID stallion Naldo, and her sire Duleek Hero is out of the wonderful Ben Purple daughter of Springfield Star. All in all Moons pedigree is a great combination of traditional bloodlines.

Celtic Moons kind temperament earned him a high inspection score of 19 out of 20 points. Moon passed his inspection with very high marks for a young stallion, and the inspectors said he will only get better with age.

Celtic Moon will be continuing his training under saddle this fall. Keep your eyes on him for next spring.

Clover Cliste is a Irish Sport Horse Stallion standing in Canada

CClover Clistelover Cliste enjoyed two weeks of showing in June 2007. After 6 weeks of being ridden we took him to the Thunderbird Horse Shows where Laura Jane Tidball did a fabulous job with him after riding him 3 times. D’Arcy walked straight back into the Grand Prix field and it was like he had never left. He showed in the 3’6”, 3’9” and 4’ classes with placings and clear rounds. What a testament to his wonderful nature and ability. As I have been pursuing my degree he has been sitting doing nothing. I am amazed and blown away that I could pull this horse out, work him for 6 weeks and take him to a horse show. All of his grooms fell in love with him there and asked if he is always that nice to deal with. I can say absolutely. I would put a beginner on this horse and he would just go out and do his job.
